I've played piano since I was five, violin since I was six, and assorted other instruments at various times and places (including viola, guitar, drum, harp, and voice). Obviously music has been a fairly strong force in my life, despite being hearing impaired.

Some of my favorite modern musicians include Tori Amos, Pink Floyd, Queen, and Rusted Root. Some of my favorite classical composers are Bach, Beethoven, Kreisler, and Rachmanninov.

My absolute number-one favorite piece for the piano is Beethoven's 5th Piano Concerto. I doubt if I'll ever get to play it with an orchestra, but I can dream... :)

I love to dance. At various points in my life I have studied ballet, ice dancing, highland dancing, and most recently belly dancing. Dance Links
